Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate looking for hands-on experience in schools? Or do you already have experience supporting young people with additional needs? This could be the perfect opportunity.We’re recruiting five Learning Support Assistants to work across specialist SEN schools in Leeds and Wakefield. These schools support children and young people with autism, learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and communication challenges.This role is ideal if you’re thinking about a future in teaching, educational psychology, SEN, youth work or mental health services and want to build real experience in a supportive school environment.What You’ll Be Doing:Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups with their learning and wellbeingHelping pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD and SEMHEncouraging positive behaviour and building strong relationshipsAssisting with academic, social and emotional developmentWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to deliver tailored supportWhat We’re Looking For:A degree in Psychology, Criminology, Counselling, Sociology or similar (2:2 or above)OR experience working with children/young people in education, care, or support settings
