To support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.Job opportunities have arisen for 1 x 35hr, 1 x 20hr, 1 x 21hr posts to support Restaurant & patient Catering Assistants within our busy Catering Team at Prince Charles Hospital.The positions will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.Main duties of the jobThe main duties of the post include the delivery of catering service within our Restaurant & Catering Stores at Prince Charles Hospital in accordance with departmental schedules and specifications and in line with all cleanliness and legislative requirements that govern the delivery of the Catering Service such as Food Safety Act 1990, Food Hygiene (Wales) Legislation 2006, Food Handling policies and procedures, COSHH and HACCP procedures.Flexibility is essential and the successful candidates will be expected to adapt to service pressures and modernization. Also the successful candidates would need to be flexible with regard to movement throughout all Health Board sites.
