
Digital Consultant – Belfast

- Complete an outline business case considering all the relevant options and identifying the preferred option to be agreed by the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO).
- Complete a Project Initiation Document (PID), and agree a project team involving subject matter experts and a project plan with the SRO.
- Engage with DfI Roads staff to identify and document the current and future system requirements and complete a fully detailed Requirements Specification document.
- Organise meetings with the Project Board and provide regular highlight reports on progress, issues, risks, benefits, etc.
- Organise Internal Peer Reviews at each key stage of the project to access readiness to progress to next stage and evaluate the risks.
- Engage with Central Procurement Directorate (CPD), prepare pre-tender documents and undertake open market day.
- Evaluate tenders and recommend successful submission, following system verification exercise, prior to award.
- Commence implementation phase, user acceptance testing, go-live planning and user training.
- Have an up-to-date PRINCE2 project management qualification.
- A minimum of 2 x years' experience managing an IT projects.
Excellent communication skills.
