We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive General Foreman to join our team on a long-term civil engineering project in Norwich. The role will involve supervising site activities, coordinating trades and subcontractors, ensuring health & safety compliance, and supporting the Site Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of a major infrastructure scheme. You will be working on a highways project, on Piling and infrastructure works including two new slip roads.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and manage on-site workforce
- Liaise with Site Manager and engineers to ensure work is delivered to spec and on time
- Maintain site safety and ensure adherence to RAMS
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labour teams
- Maintain accurate site records and daily diaries
- Conduct site inductions and tool box talks as required
- Valid CSCS Card - Gold or Black (Essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
- Strong background in civils and infrastructure projects
- Proven leadership skills and experience supervising site teams
- Ability to read drawings and communicate clearly with the team
