- Assist the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom.
- Work with individual students or small groups to support their learning and development.
- Help prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
- Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as marking work and updating records.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- Child DBS on update service.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant is a plus, but not essential.
