- Provide in-class support: Assist the class Teacher with daily lessons, helping to set up activities, manage resources, and ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
- Support student learning: Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce concepts, provide extra help, and ensure every child is on track with their learning.
- Help manage behavior: Use positive and encouraging strategies to help maintain a productive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks: Help with preparing displays, marking simple work, and keeping records up-to-date.
- Foster a positive environment: Encourage students to be confident, curious, and engaged in their learning and social interactions.
- Supervise during non-class time: Assist with supervision during break times, lunch, and school trips as needed.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a strong desire to make a difference.
- Prior experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build a great rapport with children, teachers, and parents.
