- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
- The ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality PE lessons to students aged 11-18.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Organising and leading extracurricular sports clubs and teams.
- Acting as a positive role model for students, promoting sportsmanship and fair play.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including school events and competitions.
- Maintaining a safe and well-organised learning environment.
- Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Attending departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in the curriculum and teaching practices.
- Assisting with the administration and maintenance of sports equipment.
- A supportive, collaborative working environment.
