- Responsible for the management and leadership for all Mental Health frontline and Service Support staff within the relevant regional centre and associated local/remote centres in their geographical area
- Responsible for the improvement of mental health services within service delivery to ensure continuous quality, safe and effective care, within defined NHS 24 regional contact centres and national areas of responsibility
- Lead in the articulation and promotion of the organisational improvement strategy, in order to cascade awareness and belief, at all levels throughout the organisation
- Directly handles patient complaints/comments and will be point of escalation in handling complaints for the team
- Lead on key areas of workforce and team development to improve recruitment, retention and sense of staff value which will ensure stability and resilience of the clinical service
- Be formally registered with a professional body e.g NMC
- Be educated to first degree level with postgraduate management qualification and/or relevant experience
- Demonstrate senior operational management experience and extensive clinical management in a Mental Health background
