This pivotal role as Service Manager for Community Mental Health Services involves overseeing the safe, effective, and integrated delivery of Mental Health services across the North East locality. You will lead a large, multidisciplinary workforce and hold responsibility for managing a significant budget. The post also includes leadership and management of three Community Mental Health Teams, a Primary Care Mental Health Team, and a Psychotherapy Team. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated track record in achieving high standards of patient care, and who consistently upholds professional values such as integrity, compassion, accountability, and respect.Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting service delivery and governance across complex care systems
  • Driving service improvement and redesign initiatives
  • Supporting and leading delegated aspects of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Mental Health Strategy
  • Spearheading local innovations and projects to enhance service quality and integration
  • Engaging effectively with patients, families, elected members, the Third Sector, and partner agencies
