The successful candidate will develop and lead this brand new role, providing safe, effective and person-centred pharmaceutical care direct to patients within NHS Lanarkshires Rehabilitation & Recovery and Forensic Mental Health Services. - Masters of Pharmacy Degree
- Registered member of General Pharmaceutical Council
- An independent prescribing qualification
- Evidence of postgraduate training and professional development in clinical pharmacy practice
- Significant and relevant post-registration experience in clinical pharmacy
- Working towards RPS Core Advanced Pharmacist Credentialing or equivalent and able to demonstrate evidence of working towards at an advanced practice in the key domains.
- Ability to act independently and manage own workload
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent clinical knowledge, a commitment to quality with high standards of pharmaceutical care and a dedication to lifelong learning.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to take forward service development, redesign and manage change effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in education and training of other professionals and trainees.
- Commitment to revalidation as per directions of General Pharmaceutical Council
- Please note a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
- Experience of working within specialist mental health services.
- Experience in medicine-related policy and guideline development
- Experience in supervising staff
- Proven project, practice research and audit skills
