- Mentor the Team: Support Lead/Senior Artists and their professional growth.
- Drive Quality: Implement best practices, monitor feedback, and ensure visual excellence.
- Strategic Oversight: Focus on departmental development and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Production, Sales, and Tech Art to align creative direction with client expectations.
- Support Delivery: Ensure accurate bids, manage risks, and lead project onboarding with precision.
- Champion Development: Conduct structured line management, reviews, and coaching to support team wellbeing and growth.
- Leadership Experience: Proven success in a senior or management role within the games industry.
- Artistic Expertise: A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality character and creature artwork and mastery of industry-standard tools.
- Strategic Mindset: Commercial awareness and the ability to align creative decisions with business goals.
- Excellent Communication: Confident, clear, and collaborative across disciplines.
- Resilience & Diplomacy: Calm under pressure, with a tactful approach to problem-solving and team support.
