
Laboratory Support Service Lead (M/F/D)

- A degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience working in a laboratory environment
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and driving performance
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations, scientific processes, and compliance within GMP-regulated environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in laboratory settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with lean methodologies such as Kaizen and Tiered Daily Management
- Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence
- Lead and manage a lab support team, overseeing daily operations, performance, and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, training, and documentation standards across service activities
- Act as the main contact for lab services, resolving customer enquiries and maintaining service quality
- Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs, using metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other service leads and stakeholders to share best practices and deliver consistent service
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support cost-saving initiatives
