- Leading and managing technical projects within the department
- Overseeing the design and development of products using Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) in both 2D and 3D
- Ensuring that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant regulations
- Coordinating with the sheet metal fabrication team to improve processes and outcomes
- Compiling costings and managing budgets within spreadsheets
- Facilitating continuous improvement and innovation within the team
- Developing staff, providing training, and fostering a positive work environment
- Maintaining effective communication with other departments and external stakeholders
- Experience in technical and project management, particularly within the manufacturing sector
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) in both 2D and 3D
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and design practices
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Strong skills in compiling costings within spreadsheets
- Computer literate with a good grasp of relevant software and tools
- Ability to learn new skills and take on challenges
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
