
Electronics Design Engineer

- You will be responsible for the electronic design of our products from initial concept through to high volume manufacture and will be expected to make complex design decisions along the way.
- Identifying suitable technologies and solutions to meet the project requirements.
- Creating schematic diagrams and overseeing PCB layout.
- Ensuring product quality using best practice techniques e.g. simulation, FMEA etc..
- Preparation of validation test plans as well as undertaking hands-on test and debug of your new design.
- Managing your own timescales and cost in line with the project plan.
- Working closely with the Project Manager, mechanical, PCB and compliance teams to get your design into volume production.
- BSc/BEng in Electronic Design Engineering with experience in a design environment.
- Working knowledge of electronic design including..
- Digital electronics (Microprocessor design, FPGAs, memory topologies etc.).
- Analogue electronics (Operational amplifiers, ADC/DAC, discrete design).
- Power supplies.
- Use of schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- PCB layout and best practices.
- Understanding of EMC and appropriate design techniques.
- Experience in consumer electronics and high-volume manufacturing advantageous.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Willing to work with the team in the office 4 days a week.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
