
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

- Provide 1-1 and small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including physical disabilities, speech and language challenges and cognitive difference
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons, adapting activities to meet individual learning goals
- Support students on EHCP by implementing tailored strategies and ensuring their individual learning needs are met effectively
- Foster an environment of empathy, positivity and encouragement, helping every learner feel safe and valued
- A 2:1 or higher degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development or related subject (Rusell Group or Top-30 University preferred)
- Comfortable and confident working with students who have complex learning needs and physical disabilities, providing compassionate and tailored support to help them thrive
- As strong understanding of SEN and SEMH needs
- Previous experience in SEN setting is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and families
- Outstanding training and CPD to develop specialist skills in SEN support
