
Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant

- Support teachers in delivering inspiring lessons across Humanities subjects
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to build confidence, deepen understanding, and develop critical thinking
- Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities
- Encourage debate, discussion, and curiosity in topics from historical revolutions to global challenges
- Gain valuable skills and experience to prepare for teacher training or related careers
- A 2:1 or higher degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Politics, MFL, Philosophy, Sociology, etc.) – Russell Group or top-30 university preferred
- Strong academic background and excellent communication skills
- A genuine enthusiasm for your subject and the ability to make complex ideas engaging
- Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring) is desirable but not essential
- A full-time Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant role in a vibrant secondary school
