  • Support teachers in delivering inspiring lessons across Humanities subjects
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to build confidence, deepen understanding, and develop critical thinking
  • Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities
  • Encourage debate, discussion, and curiosity in topics from historical revolutions to global challenges
  • Gain valuable skills and experience to prepare for teacher training or related careers
Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant: Who We’re Looking ForTo Succeed in this Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant role, you should have:
  • A 2:1 or higher degree in a Humanities-related subject (History, Geography, Politics, MFL, Philosophy, Sociology, etc.) – Russell Group or top-30 university preferred
  • Strong academic background and excellent communication skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for your subject and the ability to make complex ideas engaging
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring) is desirable but not essential
