If so we would like to hear from you.We have a new role to recruit an ACP for 15 hours per week over 2 days.Sina Health Centre is a thriving, friendly NHS GP practice located in Willenhall with around 7000 patients and a Good overall rating from CQC.To add to our existing comprehensive range of staff, we are recruiting an ACP to join our team, we are committed to providing high quality care to our patients whilst caring for the well- being of our staff.The ideal candidate will take responsibility as a senior member of our dedicated nursing team, working closely with our management team, GPs, nursing team and administration team to provide patient -centered care.PLEASE NOTE: Due to high volumes of applications we may decide to close this advert earlier than the specified date. Previous applicants need not apply.Main duties of the jobYou will need to work collaboratively with the team to meet the needs of the patients whilst demonstrating safe clinical decision making and offering excellent care to our patients.You will be expected to focus on delivering evidence based practice to patients with long term conditions and acute illnesses.As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for the care delivered and will need to demonstrate critical thinking and clinical decision making skills to deliver expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the practiceYou will conduct both face to face and telephone appointments and work dynamically and collaboratively to meet the needs of our patients on a daily basis.In addition to these responsibilities you will be responsible for adhering to policies and proceduresWe actively encourage professional development and training to help you explore your personal development and support the development of the practice.About usWe are a friendly, patient focused GP practice serving a patient population of around 7000 patients.   • Can discuss in depth current clinical and managerial issues regarding safeguarding adults/children and domestic abuse

  • Evidence of teaching and mentoring junior staff
QualificationsEssential
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RCN Accredited) Or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (RCEM Accredited) or equivalent qualification.
  • V300 prescribing qualification
  • Experience in General Practice/ Walk-in Centre/ Urgent Care Centre/ Emergency Department/Out of Hours Service desirable
  • Up to date knowledge of DOH and NICE guidelines
  • Knowledge of use of IT/library searches knowledge
  • Can discuss in depth current clinical and managerial issues regarding safeguarding adults/children and domestic abuse

  • Experience in a Primary Care setting
  • It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may be considered.
