- Lead and delegate duties to engineering and contract staff
- Maintain a working knowledge of current contract forms, acts, and legislation
- Accept, approve, and issue contracts and subcontracts to ensure company's Health and Safety and other IMS procedures are complied with
- Liaise, with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, and sub-contractors and others
- Assist with the preparation of quality bids, PQQs, and other presentations as required
- Be responsible for budgeting, monitoring, and control of contract finances
- Identify, evaluate, and manage claims and variationsTo be suitable for this Contracts Manager role you will have:- A background in concrete repair including inspection, repair & refurbishment of buildings & structures.
- Demonstrate a high level of competence and understanding of ALL aspects of Contracts Management: Surveying, Financial, Contractual, Programming/Planning, Leadership and Communication.
- Relevant Qualifications ie. Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Concrete Repair.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) (desirable not essential)Contracts Manager Salary & Package:Upwards of £65,000, upwards negotiable dependant on experience and level plus package including:- Pension
