Reeson Education is looking for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school in the St Helens area . This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and set to start ASAP.This is a warm and welcoming SEN setting that caters to pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. Many of the children have found mainstream school settings challenging, and this nurturing provision offers them the individualised care and tailored learning they deserve.Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
  • Work as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in class, in groups, and 1:1
  • Liaise with teaching staff and therapists to follow care and learning plans
  • Encourage independence and celebrate every small win
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
  • Be a reliable, proactive, and patient Teaching Assistant
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Be enthusiastic and consistent in providing calm and positive support
