We are looking for dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools in St Helens and nearby areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.Role Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.Assist class teachers in adapting lesson activities to meet individual learning requirements.Encourage positive behaviour and support emotional well-being in and out of the classroom.Help with classroom resources, preparation, and record-keeping to support learning plans.Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support for each student.Requirements:Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or other settings).Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN-specific training, or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.What We Offer:Competitive daily rates of pay, paid weekly.Flexible working options – full-time and part-time roles available.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Supportive and frien
