- Support the Site Manager and step in during absences to manage site operations.
- Oversee a section of the project, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and environmental management.
- Develop and manage detailed construction programmes, coordinating with engineering staff and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of key activities.
- Produce, review, and manage method statements and other site documentation.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth site operations.
- Lead and develop the site engineering team, fostering a strong, communicative environment.
- Monitor financial performance of your section, providing updates to the commercial team.
- Uphold the company’s health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
- A strong understanding of the CDM Regulations, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Proven experience in civil engineering, with the ability to manage complex site programmes and support project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of producing Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work.
- A natural leader, able to manage and develop teams effectively.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage time and resources to meet project deadlines.
