- Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Manage a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes learning and emotional well-being.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to support student learning.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance best practices in SEN education.
- A Qualified Teacher with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) and proven experience in a SEN-specific role.
- Expert knowledge of various special educational needs and the strategies to support them.
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a resilient, positive attitude.
- The ability to think creatively and adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

- A relevant SEN qualification or a postgraduate diploma in Special Education is highly desirable.
