  • Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Manage a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes learning and emotional well-being.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to support student learning.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance best practices in SEN education.
What we're looking for:
  • A Qualified Teacher with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) and proven experience in a SEN-specific role.
  • Expert knowledge of various special educational needs and the strategies to support them.
  • Exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a resilient, positive attitude.
  • The ability to think creatively and adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusive education.
  • A relevant SEN qualification or a postgraduate diploma in Special Education is highly desirable.
