We are building a bank of talented, resilient graduates ready to support students in the new academic year.This role is ideal for Psychology graduates or recent graduates from any discipline with relevant experience - for example, as a youth worker, mentor, or teaching assistant - who have a genuine interest in helping young people overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their potential.
About the roleAs a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Work 1:1 with individual students or support small groups with behaviour management
- Assist with pastoral matters such as attendance, wellbeing, and engagement
- Communicate with parents, SENCOs, Heads of Year, and Form Tutors regarding student progress
- Encourage positive behaviours and support an inclusive learning environment, regardless of background or circumstance
- Monitor and report on students' progress to ensure the right support strategies are in place
- A UK degree (Psychology or related field preferred)
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (e.g., youth work, school-based roles, mentoring)
- A resilient and patient nature - these roles can be challenging but incredibly rewarding
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- References covering the last 2 years
