- Supervise classes of various subjects and age groups during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-set work to students, ensuring they remain on task and focused.
- Provide clear instructions and support to students as they complete their assignments.
- Report on student behavior and any issues that arise to the relevant teaching staff.
- Strong Leadership Skills: The ability to command a room and manage student behavior effectively.
- Adaptability: A willingness to cover a wide range of subjects and year groups with little notice.
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to give clear instructions and build rapport with students.
- Resilience: The capacity to handle challenging situations with a calm and confident demeanor.
- Experience with Young People: Previous experience working in an educational setting or with young people is highly desirable.
