Job Opportunity: Temporary Cover Teacher - North LondonWe're currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Cover Teacher to join one of our partner schools in North London on a temporary basis.Role Details:
  • Position: Temporary Cover Teacher
  • Location: North London
  • Start Date: Immediate / September 2025
  • Contract: Short-term/ongoing cover (with potential for extension)
  • Pay: Competitive daily rate, paid weekly (£160+ per day)
About the Role:
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. You'll need to be adaptable, confident in classroom management, and able to engage learners of different abilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver set lesson plans to classes across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where required)
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Support pupils' learning and well-being during cover lessons
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in the UK
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
