As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher to deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced support staff looking to gain classroom experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support pupils' engagement and ensure lesson objectives are met
- Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
- Previous experience working with young people (school, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour effectively
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
