Primary Cover Supervisor East KentWant to inspire the next generation without the pressure of planning lessons?Academics Canterbury are looking for confident and adaptable Primary Cover Supervisor's to support secondary schools across East Kent, including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone, and Hythe.As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage behaviour, and keep pupils engaged in their learning. This is the perfect role for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone looking to gain school-based experience.What makes us different? We have a strong local presence across East Kent. We regularly visit our schools in person, meaning we can give you genuine, first-hand insight into the roles we offer.As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:
  • Deliver lessons using provided resources and plans
  • Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils' learning and development across a range of subjects
What we're looking for:
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A confident, proactive, and reliable approach
  • Experience working with young people (desirable)
  • Right to work in the UK and a DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
