A Cover Supervisor is needed in an All Boys Grammar Secondary School & Mixed 6th Form in South East London.This Cover Supervisor position will be full time and long term, with scope to go permanent.If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Setting up lessons for classes where the teacher is absent using the relevant school IT systems
  • Ensuring pupils are behaving themselves throughout the lesson
  • Engaging with pupils during the lesson to provide them with basic assistance and guidance
  • Using the schools behaviour policy to handle and log incidents of negative behaviour
  • Organising pupils work at the end of each lesson in order for it to be effectively handed over to the next member of staff
The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor role will be between £82.14 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.The SchoolAn All-Boys Grammar School with a Mixed Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Bexley.Academically very strong, they consistently post GCSE and A level results above the regional and national average, with 97% of students achieving 5 A*-C grades including Business and Maths.The school's success is the result of their excellent teaching and facilities which has led to students there being happy, well behaved and keen to learn and succeed.In 1995 the school was awarded DfES Technology College specialist status.
