- To work in support of, and deputise for the band 7 Physiotherapist
- To provide a high standard Neurological Physiotherapy service on the nine monthly rotation - this involves working across the Acute Trust in a range of ward, outpatient and rehabilitation settings. These rotations include the Acute Stroke Unit, Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, Neurology rehabilitation in-reach team, Neurology Outpatients, spasticity/ neuro-splinting, and Kings Lodge Rehabilitation Unit.
- To supervise Band 5 Physiotherapists, and support staff and students working within the speciality.

- Physiotherapy degree or equivalent diploma
- State registration
- Evidence of attending courses specifically related to neurology
- Evidence of CPD specifically related to Neurology
- Membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
- Demonstrable postgraduate Physiotherapy experience in a broad range of specialities
- Previous employment within NHS
- Accredited Clinical Educator
- Experience of working in a variety of settings ie. in pts, OPs, rehabilitation, community
- Involvement in service development
- Experience of teaching the wider MDT within neurology
- Experience of delivering difficult information
- Able to use a risk assessment approach to maximise patients' function and safety
- Able to use information to make appropriate diagnosis and prognosis
- Able to use a range of technical and statistical methods
- Physiotherapy degree or equivalent diploma
- State registration
- Evidence of attending courses specifically related to neurology
- Evidence of CPD specifically related to Neurology
- Membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
