- Assessment, early treatment and triage of patients in a busy clinic environment
- Liaison and case discussion with Consultant colleagues and wider members of the MDT
- Managing an outpatient caseload
- Service development projects
- Supervision and training of junior staff and students
- Overseeing the organisation of a busy clinics, deputising for senior staff as required
- Liaison with colleagues in primary care and other secondary care hospitals
- Must be able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's "We are here for you" behavioural standards
- BSc honours or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- Member of CIG
- Possession of specific knowledge, technical skills and experience in MSK conditions
- Broad based junior rotational experience with both acute in-patient and OP areas covered
- UK NHS Experience at either Student or qualified level
- Ability to assess, formulate a diagnosis and plan patient management using clinical reasoning skills and a range of treatment options.
- Evaluation of clinical interventions
- Effective time management skills
- Experience of effective delegation
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Maintain competence in respiratory care for rostered emergency duty work and participation in orthopaedic rota
- Must be able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's "We are here for you" behavioural standards
