- Tailored Support: Providing one-to-one or small group support to help students grasp concepts, finish tasks, and manage their learning.
- Classroom Collaboration: Working closely with the class teacher to deliver lessons, prepare materials, and help create an inclusive and engaging classroom.
- Emotional & Social Development: Acting as a trusted guide for students, helping them develop essential social and emotional skills.
- Progress Tracking: Providing valuable feedback to the teacher on student progress and challenges to help inform and adjust support strategies.
- The right to work in the UK and a valid Child DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
- Empathy: The ability to connect with students and remain calm and encouraging, especially during challenging moments.
- A Proactive Approach: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to take initiative and find creative solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, and to work well with a friendly team.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting or with SEN, is highly desirable.
