- Supporting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Helping to create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assisting with the assessment of student progress and helping to implement individual learning goals.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support student development.
- Building strong, positive relationships with students to foster trust and encourage learning.
- Implementing and adapting individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the teacher.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of various SEN strategies and interventions is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
