Our Tameside manufacturing client require a Health and Safety Manager to manage all the Health and Safety processes and ensure all records are kept up to date.The candidate should have a good understanding and experience in an industrial workplace environment and have achieved or be willing to obtain necessary Health and Safety qualifications.Further duties include:

Carrying out risk assessments
COSHH REGULATIONS
Lifting Equipment legislation
Safety Tours and Inspections
Personal Protective Equipment
Fire Safety Arrangements
Asbestos Arrangements
Manual Handling
Noise at Work
Working at Height
First Aid and Welfare Arrangements
Risk Assessments
Safe Systems of Work/Work Instructions
Staff Training
Work Equipment
Traffic and Pedestrian Segregation
Accident and Near Miss Reporting
Health Surveillance arrangements
Provide Health and Safety Advice

What else you need to know:

Full time hours Monday to Friday
20 days holidays plus stats
Salary £45,000 depending upon your experience
