The RoleYou will manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting them through their complete learning journey from initial training through to successful End Point Assessment completion.Key Responsibilities:Training & Assessment Excellence:
  • Deliver high-quality training and ongoing support to apprentices
  • Conduct comprehensive workplace assessments and progress reviews
  • Monitor and record detailed apprentice progress throughout their programmes
  • Guide apprentices through End Point Assessment preparation and requirements
Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with employer partners
  • Act as the key liaison between training provider, apprentices, and workplace supervisors
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and employer engagement
Professional Standards:
  • Keep current with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety requirements
  • Coordinate development of knowledge, skills, and behaviours aligned with apprenticeship standards
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements
Flexible Working:
This role offers agile working flexibility, including a blend of on-site duties, workplace visits across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties, and remote administrative work from home.What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements:
  • Professional Qualification: Level 3 (or higher) in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation
  • Industry Experience: Substantial, relevant experience in the electrical sector
  • Teaching/Assessment Experience: Proven background in education or training delivery
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
  • Communication Skills: Professional communication and relationship-building abilities
  • IT Proficiency: Confidence using digital systems and modern teaching technologies
  • Mobility: Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle insured for business use
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, collaborative mindset, and passion for developing others
Desirable:
  • Assessor and/or Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification
  • Experience with apprenticeship delivery and End Point Assessment processes
