Salary: Competitive + PackageJames Gray Recruitment is working on behalf of a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. They are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to support major civil tenders and help secure high-value projects in sectors including infrastructure, marine, earthworks, and more.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive civil engineering estimates
- Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and input
- Support value engineering and risk management activities
- Work collaboratively with pre-construction and operational teams
- Proven experience estimating civils projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods and the tendering process
- Proficiency in estimating tools and systems
- Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
- Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
