
Logistics Operations Manager

- Manage 35,000 sq. ft warehouse site operations and resource of across two shifts.
- Manage Put Away, Pick and issue of material to Plant side locations and shipping operation.
- Ensuring all inventory movements to and from sub-contractors are correctly transacted.
- Execute daily delivery of material and component to plant lineside locations.
- Control dispatch of Finished products to customers in line predefined delivery schedule.
- Process supplier quality returns through warehouse operations in a timely manner.
- Handle customer returns via warehouse RMA process in place.
- Attend daily start-up production meetings to present logistics overview against plan.
- Manage returnable packing loop for all projects, including return for repair.
- Complete warehouse equipment audits and report outcome monthly.
- Maintain H&S standards and incidents recording via safety control system in place.
- Create KPI’s to show process and team performance activities, including inventory accuracy, COTIF, Dock to Stock, Cycle Counts due and Line Side Pick accuracy.
- Responsible for controlling outbound freight movement and spends in line with budget.
- Apply ‘Automotive expectations’ stores (e.g. one part in one location).
- Staff performance management, including objectives setting and appraisal completion.
- To be capable of using MS NAV 2018 system or similar ERP exposure.
- Previous proven experience working within an automotive production assembly and warehouse operations environments.
- Familiar with using MS Excel, MS Outlook and other MS packages.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with their local team as well as the wider team.
- Previous proven exposure to people management.
- Results-orientated and good attention to detail..

- A strong team player, experienced in leading self and others.
- Experience working within a business which has achieved IATF16949 certification Exposure to working in component operations environment supporting production plant
