Contract Type: Full-Time | Term Time OnlyAre you a recent Psychology graduate looking to gain meaningful experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?A warm, inclusive, and highly regarded primary SEN school in Kensington, West London, is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as full-time SEN Teaching Assistants.About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to support primary-aged pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities. You'll work alongside skilled teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide tailored interventions and create a nurturing, engaging learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to primary school pupils with SEN
- Assist in the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support pupils' emotional, behavioural, and sensory needs with empathy and care
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject)
- A genuine interest in working with children with SEN
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with children or SEN (voluntary or paid) is advantageous, but not essential
