Contract Type: Full-Time | Term Time OnlyAre you a recent Psychology graduate looking to build meaningful experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?A warm, inclusive, and well-respected SEN school in the Ealing borough is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as full-time SEN Teaching Assistants.About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties. You will work alongside skilled teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions and create a nurturing learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis with their academic and social development
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support behavioural, emotional, and sensory needs with empathy and patience
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
- A degree in Psychology or a related field
- Genuine interest in working with children with SEN
- Empathetic, resilient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a structured school environment
- Previous experience (voluntary or paid) with children or SEN is advantageous but not essential
- Full-time, term-time only position (Monday-Friday)
