About the RoleJob Overview
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the HR Shared Services team, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Coach, support, and manage team members to help them develop and perform at their best
  • Ensure deadlines are met and service standards are consistently high.
  • Collaborate with the Shared Services Transformational Lead to deliver change initiatives, embed best practices, and future-proof the Shared Services function.
  • Review systems and processes regularly, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Support the delivery of training sessions, presentations and business updates.
  • Ensure policies, documents, and templates are up to date, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on HR-related matters, including sensitive and complex issues.
Package DescriptionSalary & Hours
  • £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
  • 37.50 hours per week

Minimum Criteria to Apply
  • Solid experience in a similar HR or high-volume administrative role, ideally within a shared services or operational environment.
  • Strong people management skills - you'll know how to support, motivate and get the best out of a team.
  • A confident, clear communicator who's able to handle sensitive situations and give constructive feedback.
  • A good understanding of HR processes and policies, along with current employment law and GDPR requirements.
  • A track record of spotting where things could work better and successfully putting improvements in place.
  • The ability to manage a busy workload, juggle priorities and stay organised under pressure.
  • Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
