- Proven experience in an operational role, preferably within an insurance broking or regulated professional services environment
- Possess an understanding of operations, compliance, systems, and efficiencies
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Proficiency in using the Acturis trading platform
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong organisational and project management skills
- The ability to analyse data effectively and take a holistic view of the company’s processes
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the insurance brokerage, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Build relationships with colleagues in order to gain ‘buy in’ and allow smooth transitional changes
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve productivity and service delivery
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with senior management to align operational strategies with business goals
- Analyse operational performance metrics and implement improvements to drive results
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of brokerage software and systems
- Support business growth initiatives by optimising operational processes and resources
