Role: Passive Fire Project Manager (Fire Doors)Location: South BirminghamSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annumTechnical Resources are recruiting for a Passive Fire Project Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple fire door installation, upgrade, and maintenance projects across the South Birmingham region. You'll oversee contracts from planning through to delivery, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality are met, while managing resources, budgets, and client relationships.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage fire door projects from inception to completion.
  • Plan, resource, and deliver works to meet operational, financial, and safety targets.
  • Ensure compliance with passive fire legislation, British Standards, and accreditation schemes.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting across projects.
  • Monitor quality through regular inspections and audits.
  • Provide technical guidance, promoting best practice in installation.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and compliance across all works.
Experience and Certifications Required:
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager within passive fire protection, specifically fire doors.
  • Strong knowledge of fire door regulations, installation standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with commercial responsibility.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • IT literate with strong reporting and project tracking skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
