- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Lead the end-to-end payroll function for UK&I, ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with business objectives end regulatory requirements. Act as first point of escalation for all payroll matters.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation and ensure all processes and documentation are compliant and updated.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, system enhancements and simplification of payroll processes. Working with the European Service Line to share and implement best practices.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external vendors, tax authorities, and internal departments such as Legal and Finance. Also, working closely with the regional owners of all Payroll Products.
- Team Support: Mentor and develop payroll team members, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide strategic support to the Payroll Manager and act as deputy when required.
- Reporting & Audits: Oversee delivery of complex payroll and time & attendance reports, support internal and external audits, and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Expertise in UKI Payroll: Deep understanding of UK and Irish payroll legislation, tax systems and compliance frameworks
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy, with a continuous improvement mindset to implement strategic solutions
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead a team, support cross functional projects, provide clear guidance, and communicate effectively across departments
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in payroll systems and enthusiasm to utilize technology to bring automation and digitisation for process improvement
