Teaching Assistant position available - September 2025 - Full time position - 1:1 Support roleLocation - Central CroydonPay: £90-£110 a day (8:30am-3:30pm)September startWe are currently looking for a experienced teaching assistant in the heart of a busy and thriving Croydon school supporting a set of experienced and committed teachers. Your role will be to contribute to the positive school nature. An ideal teaching assistant will have experience working alongside pupils across the school with a forward thinking and flexible working nature.About the school:This two form school in CR0 have a group of experienced staff looking to add specific support to children across the school. If the candidate is a good fit for the school then this position is for a September 2025 start.Teaching Assistant duties
  • Working closely with a pupil with SEN needs (the child needs specific behaviour needs and therefore support in the classroom and playground is required)
  • Preparing the classroom and resources for lessons
  • Supporting class teacher with specific duties (including behaviour management and assessment)
  • Help maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Requirement for this role
  • Experience working in the primary school setting
  • A calm, emphatic and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS Check (Teaching Personnel can support with this)
  • Provide two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
