Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? They are a welcoming and inclusive school looking for an enthusiastic and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll support pupils with a range of needs including autism and speech & language difficulties.The candidate will be a patient and caring individual who'll harbour the ethos of the school and oversee the learning needs of those in and out of the classroom. This role will require work within the classroom, supporting on a 1:1 basis as well as overseeing this child's needs within the playground.Requirements:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN in the classroom and one-to-one
- Implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Supporting learning under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO
- Assisting with personal care (if applicable)
- Promoting inclusion and equal opportunities
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress
- Managing behaviour sensitively and effectively
- SEN TA qualification or relevant training (e.g., Makaton, PECS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
