- To gate-keep referrals into the Adult Eating Disorders Service liaising with referrers and providing advice and support as needed.
- To ensure the effective assessment, care planning and review of patient care and treatment in line with the EPUT CPA policy and procedure.
- To liaise with the provider collaborative regarding specialist out of area eating disorder placements and inpatient providers, when EPUT service users are admitted and to provide a link function for local services and carers.
- To provide highly specialist evidence based interventions for clients with Eating Disorders, drawing on a wide range of theoretical frameworks and treatment modalities.

- Qualification at degree level or equivalent
- Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
- Evidence of training and using an evidence-based NICE guideline intervention in clinical practice for Eating Disorders. (e.g SSCM, MANTRA, FBT)
- Management qualification
- In-depth knowledge of community mental health services
- In-depth knowledge of wider policy and service issues relating to mental health
- Extensive knowledge of the assessment and treatment of eating disorders
- Knowledge of safeguarding issues and child protection requirements and how these apply to the role
- RMN or registered Occupational Therapist
- Qualification at degree level or equivalent
