  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment for patients across the medical wards. Ensure appropriate pathways of care and communication by liaising and referring to other agencies when needed.
  • Collaborate with professional leads to plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate the Occupational Therapy service on a daily basis.
  • Lead the advanced assessment and highly specialist treatment of patients within your specialty. Tackle complex acute or chronic presentations to determine clinical diagnosis and recommended occupational therapy treatment.
  • Maintain accurate records and conduct your practice as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Coordinate and offer supervision, appraisals, and training for junior staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
Requirements:Applicants must hold HCPC registration and have a minimum of two years’ experience in occupational therapy.
