Senior Coastal Change Officer Job descriptionThis role provides an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of climate change resilience within the East Riding. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support the delivery of the innovative Changing Coasts East Riding project to help communities plan for, and respond to, the impacts of coastal change.Acting as a coastal champion, you will work with communities and partner organisations to develop a new, long-term approach to coastal transition within the East Riding, while actively supporting communities to deliver on-the-ground adaptation.This role requires a candidate who can think innovatively, forge excellent relationships with a range of people and organisations and deliver an ambitious programme of work on time.Candidates should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have experience of project management, policy / strategy development and partnership working.
  • Some evening and weekend working may be required as part of this role.
