PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,700 - £30,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience, plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,441. The Programme Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing paperwork intake for BBC Studios titles, resolve music cue sheet queries, and oversee deliverables for selected productions. They'll source, commission, and occasionally produce paperwork for edits, music, contributor and photographic rights. The role ensures stakeholders across the business have access to required documentation, with systems updated accordingly.WHY JOIN THE TEAMThe Programme Operations team is part of BBC Studios Operations department and is responsible for ensuring that productions supply all asset deliverables for titles in which BBC Studios invests, enabling their commercial distribution to clients worldwide. The team supports the delivery of around 200 series annually, working closely with production teams to ensure all content is prepared to our specifications and ready for global distribution. We're a small, close-knit, friendly team that prides itself on being supportive and collaborative of each other, as our work has a strong independent element to it.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of paperwork deliverables from production, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to clients.
- Review and revise music cue information for accurately reporting music usage to music rights bodies such as the PRS/MCPS.
- Manage the delivery of asset deliverables across minor genres.
- Liaise regularly with cross functional partners and internal teams, facilitating best practices that enable production paperwork assets to be delivered within budget and on time.
- Co-ordinate the workflow for any paperwork rejections or programme recalls.
- Assess paperwork, particularly cue sheets, required for all productions, provide advice to production or internal teams where necessary.
- Attend regular meetings with relevant stakeholders to monitor progress of key projects, inform key parties of any changes and recent developments that may affect delivery of needed paperwork assets.
- Handle a high volume of administrative tasks, ensuring all paperwork is commissioned to budget, on time, and to agreed levels of quality.
- Background in television distribution, post production or production departments.
- Familiarity in compiling detailed music cue sheets and formatting.
- Experience managing and handling post-production deliverable assets.
- Experience managing the full spectrum of production paperwork required for TV production deliverables.
- Proficient using Silvermouse/ Soundmouse systems.
- Experience using Excel, Dropbox, Box, Aspera
- Good knowledge of evolving global audience requirements and the importance of diversity in our content.
