- Manage through-life growth impacts to maintain submarine safety and performance.
- Conduct stability analyses and experiments using empirical methods and industry-standard tools.
- Produce calculations and guidance for safe docking, undocking, and manoeuvring operations.
- Develop tailored engineering tools and procedures to meet complex client requirements.
- Support design activities from feasibility to detailed design for modifications and capability enhancements.
- Proficient in industry-standard tools, including Paramarine, Ansys, MATLAB, MathCAD, Orcaflex, Rhinoceros, AutoCAD/Inventor, and MS Excel.
- Effective team player with the ability to take ownership and deliver in dynamic environments.
- Analytical and proactive problem-solver, focused on delivering practical engineering solutions.
- Experienced in submarine/surface ship stability experiments and dry-docking practices.
- Strong personal management, communication, and organisational skills to support technical delivery.
- Degree (BSc, BEng, MSc, or MEng) in Naval Architecture, Marine Technology, Ship Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with RINA or equivalent or working towards it.
