The Finance Assistant will be responsible for ensuring finance related tasks are effectively completed. You will have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively, have excellent organisational and administrative skills, maintain confidentiality, remain calm under pressure and use tact and discretion when dealing with people.
  • To check all invoices on receipt, reconcile delivery notes and statements, obtain authorisation, code invoices and process on SIMS/FMS
  • To process all supplier invoices/credit notes in a timeous manner, verify accuracy, approvals and account coding in accordance with financial procedures
  • To maintain supplier accounts
  • To initiate all payment runs via the Banker's Automated Clearing System (BACS)
  • To accurately file paid invoices
  • To issue remittances
  • To process staff expenses in accordance with procedures
